

UJALA- DOWA (Defence Officers Wives Association) was founded by Mrs. Sucharita Vadhera in the year 1996 under the auspices of ANAWA (Army, Nany, Airforce Wives Association) in Defence Colony, New Delhi.
UJALA is dedicated towards empowering less privileged girls and women by offering them with vocational training, literacy programs etc and help them become independent.
